Course Description
The concept of the tiled display wall is rapidly becoming commonplace in the digital signage industry. The need for larger and more attention-grabbing displays is growing rapidly. Installations are becoming more creative, and the ability to have large, unusually shaped, or immersive signage displays have evolved as a frequent request from end users. Videowalls fit this growing need and understanding the different technologies that make up the complex world of videowalls is truly important. This seminar will begin with an overview of the available technologies in tiled displays, from hardware-based processors, to software-based processors, and the use of digital signage software in place of a processor, as well as a brief look at the developments in videowall displays.
